One of my favourite lunch spots in Rio. The roast meats are out of this world, flavoursome, succulent and melt in the mouth. I think I made my way through most of the menu always accompanied by a cold chopp. The linguica and pork were my personal favourites but they are all great.

I just asked for the most popular sandwich because i can’t speak portuguese, but they delivered!!! Very kind and honest people and an incredible tasting sandwich. I LOVED the caramelized pineapple on it, never had it before but it’s fan-tas-tic. Muito obrigado!!!

Opus is the king of pork sandwiches in Rio. Knowing very little Portugese we were left confused with what to order when the chef placed a small plate with a sample of the pork be was pulling for the sandwiches and that left little doubt in my mind. Friendly and warm service that lacks nothing - get yourself a chopp and a pernil sandwich - Opus rules.

Had a pernil sandwich. Was much larger than I expected and so delicious. Now I want to go back and get one of their other ones.
